This shall govern the collection and use of personal data which are recorded under certain circumstances when you contact us. When you contact us, the website provider (for example, via contact form, enquiry form or e-mail), your details are stored for the purpose of processing the request and for the event that there are follow-up questions. The website uses the encryption industry standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) in some places. Thereby, the confidentiality of your personal details and credit cards information for transactions over the internet is guaranteed. As common with many other company websites, we also use what is called ‘cookies’ and other technologies to obtain a better view of which areas of our website are especially popular, how our visitors move around the website and how much time they spend in different areas. Moreover, we use cookies and other technologies to ensure that our online advertising is effective and that customers are aware of our products and services. We use cookies and other technologies to analyse the data traffic to our website so that we can further improve its design and functionality, and to investigate the efficiency of communication with our customers. Furthermore, we use cookies to better align the website with your needs and to be able to provide you with more convenient navigation at each visit. Moreover, we use what is called ‘pixel tags’ (tiny picture files) which supply information about which areas of our website have been visited by customers, or measure the effectiveness of customers’ searches on our website. E-mail messages can also be sent to the customer in a readable format with the help of pixel tags. We can also check whether e-mails have been opened to ensure that such messages are only being sent to our customers who are really interested.

Use of Google Adwords

This website uses Google AdWords, an online advertising service provided by Google. AdWords uses cookies for conversion tracking when users click on ads. The cookies expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. Conversion tracking tells us how many users click on ads and are redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. Use of Google Maps

On our website, we use services provided by Google Maps. Google Maps is operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). This enables us to display interactive maps on the website itself and to make the map function easy for you to use. The legal basis for incorporating and using Google Maps, and for the accompanying transfer of data to Google, is your consent (Art. 6 [1] [a] GDPR). Provision of your personal data is voluntary and occurs solely on the basis of your consent. If you block access to it, you may be able to use fewer website functions.

When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have visited the sub-page of our website into which Google Maps is incorporated. This information is transferred regardless of whether Google has provided a user account that you have used to log in or no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data is linked directly to your account. If you do not want Google to assign the information collected about your visit to our website to your Google profile you must log out of Google before you click on the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or needs-based website design. This analysis is carried out in particular (and even for users who are not logged in) for the purposes of needs-based advertising and to inform other users in the social network of your activities on our website. We do not collect any personal data through the incorporation of Google Maps. Use of the Mews booking system

For online bookings on our website, we use the booking system of Mews Systems B.V., Prinseneiland 303, 1013 LP Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Bookings are processed via this platform and the necessary personal data is collected and processed, such as name, contact details, payment information and reservation details.

The data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR for the fulfilment of a contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In this context, Mews acts as a processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. The data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contract or if there are legal obligations.
